Week Thirty
Wow, thirty weeks of this, amazing. My story this week comes from Friday night. Some of my pals and I were going to head on over to a corn maze to get in the Halloween spirit but the weather said otherwise. Instead of participating in a corn maze, we all went to my friend's house. We watched Mean Girls, which I must say was a pretty funny movie, and had a blast. His dog was somewhat bothersome during the movie but all in all it was a night to remember. Before the movie had started I think I suggested getting tattoos or something of the sort but dissapointingly, we didn't have the tools. What we did have though, were sharpie markers. I made a pretty cool design, in my opinion, on my arm. It was multi-colored and super awesome. At the end of the night, almost midnight, someone thought they had seen someone moving in the back yard. That freaked me out so I sort of stayed close to anyone just in case a murderer did come out, that way, whoever I was with could help me bring down the murderer. Danfred and I had some talking bits and then got to my house. Danfred left and I went to sleep, end of an amazing night.

Week Twenty-Nine
The entire week, my Biomedical Sciences class had been preparing for a trip we were going to take on Friday. We got to the institute Friday morning around eight thirty or so and were seated in a large room. We took notes on some powerpoints about the company and medical interventions. We started learning about Atherosclorosis, the constricting of the blood vessels, and watched an Angioplasty, a medical procedure to cut out a section of the Aorta and replace it with a graft. I managed to watch that just fine but then the presenter started talking about more operations and showing more graphic images. I started tell myself then "Don't get sick, you won't get sick, don't worry you're fine." and other things like such. Well a few more minutes into the presentation I started getting lightheaded so I got up and walked to my teacher. I said to her "I'm feeling lightheaded." and her response was "I can tell, you aren't looking to good." She and I started walking to the back of the room to get some space and not even five steps into it my vision started to dissapate. I remember passing the trash can and her asking if I was okay, I answered her by saying "I can't see." and then the next thing I knew I was laying horizontally on a bed of chairs with four or five people around me. I jerked awake and heard people telling me I was going to be okay and then it hit me. I had fainted. I quickly understood that and just laid my head back down thinking "Well shit, now I'm 'That Kid'" It almost happened another time but I was quick enough to move and get into a better position for a more efficient blood flow. At that point though I realized I wouldn't be able to last four more hours listening and seeing these things. I left and went home to lay down and rest. It was an interesting experience for me being the first time I have ever passed out.

Week Twenty-Eight
I have two stories this week.
Thursday night, the marching band went to a school to play with the younger kids in their marching band. Me and my partner in music, Chandler, decided to let one percussionist play our tenors during a cadence. I think this boys name was Troy, or maybe it was Clay, I honestly can't remember his name but it was short. When he stepped up to play I tried to teach him the rhythm and notes. I told him that we will be playing when Jared taps off in a certain manner and then demonstrated the tap-off. Well, when I started teaching him the notes, Jared tapped it off. I had no time to teach him and just had to let him free in the deep end. He did pretty well and I let him know when we finished. He was really great for his first time playing and he looked so happy. I knew I had made his night and probably got him on the path of music. When we did finish a few of his friends came over and told him how cool he was. Later on in the evening he caught up with me and thanked me for coming out and playing with his band and also letting him play the tenors with me. I had a huge smile on my face and I gave my gratitude to him for inviting us to play. I really do believe that he will stay in percussion for the next few years of his life. Who knows maybe he will become famous and find me later on in life.
Friday night was a blast as well. After the football game, me and a few friends went to Taco Bell. It was fun, we had laughs, jokes were flying, and friends were around. We started telling stories and I was very stressed with mine. It lasted a long while, which I knew it would, I always turn twenty minute stories into four hour lectures. I had to go to the bathroom just fix my composure. I didn't want to see anyone worry about me, and my eyes would have been a dead give away to my anxiety. It was good I had my sunglasses, aviators, you can wear them anywhere, they are effective and stylish. Anyway I finished my story, heard some more, learned some things, had a great time, and fell asleep. It was a great night and I'm glad I decided not to be an introvert.

Week Twenty-Six (Explicit)
This weeks story is from Friday. It was late, maybe eight or nine 'O' clock. I hadn't walked my daily amount and I wanted to reach my goal so I went for a walk. It was pretty inclimate weather though. It was storming pretty bad and I was told not to go out because of the chance of getting struck by lightning. See where this blog is going now? Anyway I was walking along the sidewalk when I see lightning strike down and touch the earth, it was maybe half a mile to a mile away. I was carrying an umbrella because it was raining fairly hard as well. As soon as the bolt touched the ground I let go of my umbrella and dropped to my knees. The residual electricity had reach me by what's known as a side splash. When the electricity jumps from an object to a person. My umbrella had conducted it and sent it to my hand. It was like one of those shock pen jokes only one-hundred times worse. My hand felt like it was being stabbed with thousands of needles all at once and then suddenly being turned to stone. I couldn't feel my hand for maybe five minutes afterwards. I have a few bruises on my hand now because the electricity charged my blood cells and literally made them pop. I first noticed them yesterday but they're almost all gone now. Honestly, it hurt like a bitch but I'm sort of glad I had the experience to feel what it was like to be struck by lightning, granted it was such a lower voltage than actual lightning.

Week Twenty-Five
Friday, our first football game. For Marching Band that is. Not much happened, it was an okay game but we ended up losing, 23 to 29. It was a typical Marching Band show. I thought we were okay, not the best... actually we weren't that good at all. We had people missing, we had people leave early, we had people that didn't know their music... It was a horrible show now that I think about it. What a way to start off the season.

Week Twenty-Four
Sorry, not much happened this week that I feel I should talk about. Sunday would probably be my weekly story though. It was just a good day over-all, I looked good, I felt good, and it was a generally good day. I went on a drive, saw some friends at Wally World, ate a steak. Yup, good day.

Week Twenty-Two
This entire week I had camp to attend and while that was fun, nothing compared to my Saturday... But you'll have to read that in my Saturday Update blog because this is my second favorite story of the week. Wednesday was great. It was Purple Day from drumline so I went out and actually bought a purple shirt just for the occasion. Nothing super interesting happened at camp but at home the day was great. My very pretty friend asked if she could come over to download a single song off of my iTunes. Well that single download that should have only taken half a minute or so ended up being a date, lasting a great majority of the evening and setting her and I into a relationship. Loved the entire day, it was amazing. Now, go read my Saturday Update!

Week Twenty
Wednesday is the date of this weekly story. I was invited to hang out with my new gal friend at her house. We went swimming and ate some pretty amazing food cooked up by her dad and his friend. I had fun swimming with her and hanging out. We talked, we laughed, we made some connections. After meeting the rest of her family we went swimming for four hours. Needless to say, I got burnt... Bad. The tradeoff of pain for fun was worth it though. At the end of the day we shared a pretty long hug, which I had no problem with, and then I went home with a great story to tell.

Week Nineteen
So lately I've just been exhausted. I fall asleep in school, I fall asleep at home, I feel terrible all of the time. There's been so much stress just added on my shoulders and I feel like Atlas trying to hold up the world. On Monday I got sick, for an hour or two I was sitting in the bathroom just waiting. I fell asleep after that and I woke up four hours later. Now everyday after school I drive home and spend half an hour on the computer then crash in my bed for four more hours. That's my weekly story, even though it covers generally all of this week,

Week Eighteen
Oh my, I just can't seem to stay up in the morning. You see, I'm taking Summer History classes and honestly, it's not very fun or interesting, I find myself drifting off to sleep constantly. My weekly story this week is probably from Tuesday. Literally half the class (actually it was probably most of the class) had fallen asleep and the teacher stopped his lecture and said "I can wait...". The entire class sat there for maybe five minutes waiting for one person to wake up. Made my day.

Week Seventeen
My most memorable day of this week would probably be Saturday. I went to work at the zoo as always and had a great time with my zoo keeper. I wasn't out on a shift but we were in the animal house playing with the animals. Later that night, after driving home, I went out to eat at TGIFridays and while the wait was long, the food was great. After dinner I sat down and watched Doctor who on Netflix until I fell asleep.

No Weekly Story, I didn't have any interesting experiences to write about this week. Sorry! Keep checking back for next weeks though.

Week Nine
Friday: Symphonic Band had their ISSMA concert. It went pretty well, we got Golds on our actual performance and our sight-reading performance. I wasn't chosen to sight read but that didn't bother me. The night was pretty dull after our performance though...

Week Seven
(Story One) Sunday afternoon I was invited to Hu Hot Mongolian Grill. After half a year of my parents bragging about how great it is but telling me I wouldn't like it, I finally got to go eat there. Beef, Chicken, Chinese Noodles, Green Bell Peppers, and Samurai Teriyaki sauce, that's all that was in my bowl. After watching a spectacular show of spatula flipping and noodle cutting in the center of the restaurant I got my food and sat down with some friends. I couldn't eat much because I'm an "Anorexic Son of a Bitch". I ate most of the cooked meat and a little bit of the noodles. It was delicious, almost exactly like the Udon noodles I had in Disney last year. The waiter, Joseph, was great, he was making us laugh and he was so nice. My parents obviously don't know me very well, I love most oriental foods, whether its fast food or restaurants, the only reason my parents would have a reason to think that I don't like it is the way I react to my moms cooking, not all of it, just her foreign cooking. After re-reading this, it's more like a restaurant review that a weekly story, oh well. (Story Two) Thursday evening I was sitting in the hotel window (Very Dramatically I might add) when I see a man down below on the streets fall over and my first thought was "Is he alright?" Someone on the street had seen it as well and called 911, shortly thereafter an ambulance arrived and picked him up. The paramedic had taken something from the man... it was in a paper bag and the medic dumped it into the storm drain... I wasn't feeling to bad for the guy at this point. A police cruiser showed up on the scene but I didn't see the man, I assume he was still in the ambulance being resuscitated.

Week Six
Finalmente conseguí mi guitarra! I know I received my guitar on Sunday but I'm going to count it as part of week six anyway. It's so exciting, I've wanted to play guitar for a while, I even had a child's guitar when I was around eight years old. Jacob let me borrow his first guitar so I could learn and I'm really grateful for it. Even though the chords are hard for me to reach and I don't have exactly what I need, I've been making progress with what I have. I'm going to stick with it and really learn to play. My goals for next week are to have the C#m, G, A, and D chords down and ready to play in somewhat rapid succession.

Week Five
Helping out at school or volunteering really isn't that bad, I don't see why everyone hates it. Friday comes along and I leave school then come back an hour later. I walk to the Choir room and sign in. Get my head set and start on percussion set up. I had a lot of fun watching the 8th graders play and be nervous, hoping for a gold from the ISSMA band competition. My cousin, the "Secret Weapon", came along with his dad because he is a band director, I guess that means I have music in my blood. I caught up with him and possibly encouraged other underclassmen to stick with band no matter how bad their band director is. Afterwards I left the school and had some McDonald's.
Week Four
It was a week of goodbyes for me but Tuesday stuck out the most. Tuesday was our student teacher's last day with us so being the amazing band group we are, we threw a party after school for her. There was music, and food, and laughs, and friends. It was loads of fun and I'm really going to miss her. She told us that we could "Hit her up on Facebook" if we wanted. It was so much fun and I'm sure everyone had a blast.

Week Three
Sorry to all of my readers, I was busy this weekend and didn't take the time to write a weekly story. It's been three says since it should have been published and I would write one, but for the life of me, I can't recall one interesting part of my week last week, at least not one that I haven't already said in another of my blogs. Sorry to leave you without a weekly story but I'll have one up this coming week for sure, I already have my story ready and planned in my head.

Week Two
My weekly story is from Friday. Senior night for the Pep Band. It was the actual game or the pep band that made this my weekly story though, I had just eaten "The Big Nasty" from McCallistar's Deli so I was pumped full of sugar and energy. I get to the school for the senior dinner and Im just constantly moving and ready to go climb trees and jump off the walls but I contain myself. After the dinner, the pep band started to shuffle into the band room to practice while Mr. Peo told us that he didn't want us to be talking the entire practice so if we had any energy to go run it off or something. I jumped at the chance to go burn off that sandwich so I ran outside to the parking lot, twice around the back parking lot was enough to get me tired and I think I almost passed out. The band kids thought it would be "Funny" to lock me out of the band room so I found another way in... the window. Danny decided he wanted to go run too so I went with him but we left the band room the same way I entered, the window. We ran around the parking lot and by then I was exhausted... at least for a few minutes then I was ready to go run again. Burning off energy is fun, it's even better when you have friends to burn it off with.

Week One
My weekly story would probably be from about Friday or Thursday. Ben (My little brother) was having pains and aches in his hands feet and face. Later he started developing sores and blisters on his hands and feet. He has a few cold sores forming near his lips as well. Turns out he has Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease. Yes it's real, look it up. It's actually interesting with me and Ben because we are the only two in our family that have weird Illnesses. I have shingle (Its a form of Herpes, look it up) and could give the chicken pox virus to anyone so I guess if they wanted to obliterate the Chickenpox virus they would have to kill me. Ben's illness will go away though, my shingles will stay forever, they've even left a scar on my left side.
